Effective January 1, 2020, USSSA, a governing body for youth baseball, will adopt a rule requiring that all players 13u players must swing a bat with no lighter than a drop-8 length-to-weight ratio and 14u players must swing a bat no lighter than a drop-5.
14u Games are 1 hour 45 minutes. 11-13u Games are 1 hour 40 minutes. 9-10u Games are 1 hour 30 minutes; 6-8u games are 70 minutes. No inning can start after the time limit.

What age group is 11U? 11U baseball can be played by any player who is 11 years old, regardless of what grade they are in. If players turn 12 prior to May 1st, they are only eligible to play if they are in the 5th grade.
The biggest and most difficult jump in youth baseball is the transition from age 12 to age 13. It can be the difference in staying and not staying. A baseball player’s career is on the line at age 13 & 14 years old. We know that 75% of kids stop playing sports by age 14.

In a nutshell, for 2022, Little League players are considered to be 12 years of age if they are born between September 1, 2009 - August 31, 2010. For MYAS, on the other hand, the age cutoff is May 1.
As of 2018, the Minor League Baseball hierarchy is separated into the classes of AAA, AA, High-A, A, Short-Season A, Rookie-Advanced and Rookie. Most major league teams have teams in at least six of these seven levels.
